Comtemplating Abortion?

Clients who are very upset when a pregnancy is confirmed need to talk over their problems in confidence and at length. The first response can be panic. We offer them privacy and time to calm down and consider their options.

Information on abortion, parenthood and adoption is provided. There is a great value in 'thinking out loud' with someone who listens.

Those who continue with the pregnancy can depend on support beyond the birth of their baby.

Those who go ahead with the abortion are also assured of our support if they are distressed afterwards.

We do not refer for abortion, but in no way abandon those who opt for one. Distressed women are helped to regain their peace of mind, whether the abortion is recent or in the distant past.

 

Establishment of the Service

Pregnancy and Life Education Ministries Inc. was established in 1993 in response to a need to provide support system systems for pregnant women who saw their only option as abortion when an unexpected pregnancy occurred.

We believe that pregnant women are entitled to all the help that they need, not solely good medical care.

Our service provides counselling, support, practical assistance and information to women both before and after the birth.
